Sara Miller-Hornick is a graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY with a dual degree in Dance and Psychology. She is interested in integrating her studies and finding the connections between the body and mind. Some of Sara’s most recent projects include a study on the cognitive and physical benefits of ballroom dancing, and teaching a physically integrated dance class for dancers with disabilities. Sara began dancing at the age of 5 and is well versed in many types of world dance, Modern, Ballet, and Hip Hop. She has performed modern dance with the Martha Graham Dance Company and Paul Taylor Company as a guest artist. Additionally, Sara enjoys choreographing and recently signed on to choreograph a live stage show for the 9-piece psychedelic rock-ro-beat band, Rubblebucket. She is a firm believer in the saying “If you will it, it is no dream.”

Tracy started dancing at the age of five. Throughout the years she has trained in ballet, jazz, tap, point, and hip-hop dance. Tracy has found a love for all the ballroom dances, but the rhythm dances and music are her favorites. She joined the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in September 2008. Tracy has always had a passion for ballroom dancing and loves sharing the joy and excitement of dancing with others.

Hunter Houde has been dancing ever since he can remember. In college He was first introduced to the ballroom dances and it was then that he acquired his passion for partner dance. During His time in college he danced as much as he could, competing in ballroom, and choreographing salsa routines for the Salsa and Ballroom Club to perform around campus and in the local surrounding community. Most recently, he has finished as a finalist in the professional Future Champions division in both American Smooth, and Rhythm styles, as well as placing second in the open professional salsa championship.
Manager
Santiago’s love of dance shines through his students, staff, and school. Although managing is something new to him, he has earned many top teacher awards throughout his career. He also continues to master his technique by competing in professional competitions worldwide. In recent years, he placed 1st in the Future Champions Rhythm Competition, and placed 2nd in American smooth. His other accolades include winning the Pro-Am competition in the Dancing with the Stars Tour and placing 3rd in the Empire State Dancesport Championships in American Smooth. Above all, Santiago feels that his best accomplishments are the ones that can be seen in the progress and happiness of his students and staff, making dance a life changing passion and lifestyle for years to come.

Mr. Safwat Gerges started with the Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Training Class over 25 years ago and two (2) years later, became Manager & Owner of the Arthur Murray Franchised Dance Studio in Great Neck, NY.
Over the years, Mr. Gerges competed in many Arthur Murray Dance Competitions and has been decorated with several Arthur Murray “Top Instructor” & “Top Executive” Awards.
Mr. Gerges is now recognized as a Master Examiner and Adjudicator, certified through the World Professional Dance Teachers Association and accredited with the National Dance Council of America. You may observe Mr. Gerges judging many student and professional competitions and he is also the organizer of several popular show-dance and competitive events each year.
Mr. Gerges is General Manager and Franchisee to five Studios in New York & Long Island as well as four Studios overseas. Currently, Mr. Gerges is the Co-organizer of the Empire State Dance Sport Championships.
