Danielle Fischetti

Danielle has spent much of her life pursuing an extensive understanding of many different genres of dance. Danielle began her education at South Shore Dance, where she completed 16 years of training in ballet, tap and jazz under the direction of Mrs. Patricia Haugh. During this time, Danielle’s understanding of form and movement allowed her to excel in choreography and dance instruction; she was chosen to participate in various local & national competitions, including Starpower National Dance Competition, Starbound National Dance Competition and Footloose Regional Dance Competition. During her university years at SUNY Purchase, Danielle continued her studies through several upper division courses in dance and movement. Joining the University Dance Team in 2002, Danielle participated in numerous national competitions as well as performances for university sporting events and functions. Since joining the Arthur Murray family in 2009, Danielle has received honorable mention in several industry wide teaching competitions, including the 2010 Global Teaching Challenge & the 2010 Tournament of Champions.

Jonas J. Petchonka

Manager

Prior to joining the Arthur Murray family in 2008, Jonas completed extensive undergraduate & graduate work in fine & performing arts at Suffolk College, Stony Brook University & Pace University, with concentrations placed on both theatre & dance. Jonas has continuously studied various genres of dance since early childhood, & has participated in a variety of Showcases, theatrical performances and competitions. Now a certified Arthur Murray instructor, Jonas still pursues a broadening of dance proficiency, participating in coaching sessions with some of today’s most prominent ballroom aficionados, including Bob Powers & Edward Simon.

Mr. Safwat Gerges started with the Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Training Class over 25 years ago and two (2) years later, became Manager & Owner of the Arthur Murray Franchised Dance Studio in Great Neck, NY.

Over the years, Mr. Gerges competed in many Arthur Murray Dance Competitions and has been decorated with several Arthur Murray “Top Instructor” & “Top Executive” Awards.

Mr. Gerges is now recognized as a Master Examiner and Adjudicator, certified through the World Professional Dance Teachers Association and accredited with the National Dance Council of America. You may observe Mr. Gerges judging many student and professional competitions and he is also the organizer of several popular show-dance and competitive events each year.

Mr. Gerges is General Manager and Franchisee to five Studios in New York & Long Island as well as four Studios overseas. Currently, Mr. Gerges is the Co-organizer of the Empire State Dance Sport Championships.
